Laaaaazy (and much talk about smiths)

Feb 03, 2012 15:13

I have a week off right now (or rather, a half week off, as I've already lounged through the first half of it) and last night I made a list for myself that started with Alex, JUST DO IT and then you can go back to saving the world.

On that note, I'm pretty much almost done Skyrim. I just need to return that skeleton key and THAT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN until I get unbreakable picks, but I'm spending feats on smithing right now because lordy it makes me happy to have armor that is ~flawless~.

Format abuse, sorry. NOT REALLY. It's one of those days.

To Do Today:
(Alex, JUST DO IT and then you can go back to saving the world)
Call: Dentist, Hairdresser
COMPLETE, COMPLETE
Do: Laundry, Dishes
WIP, WIP
Write: Postcards, Letters

Get: Rent moola

In other news, my brother has a girlfriend and she's really sweet and he had to meet her parents last night. I found him sitting in the living room, petting his cat quite seriously and when I asked him about it he sounded very panicky about whether or not to wear his grey sweater or his black sweater. AW BABY BROTHER IS SO CUTEEEE. He said it went well, and we had a talk about introducing her to mom and dad, so he's feeling less hyperventilating about it now.

Re: Skryim. I'm iffy about choosing marriage partners in games, but you know what, that smith in Riften is too fabulous and that voice actor is ~amazing~. Definitely got hitched with that feller and now he calls me dear. So amused.

I ALSO FINISHED ASSASSIN'S CREED 2 (oh god what) AND AM STARTING ASSASSIN'S CREED BROTHERHOOD. I still can't believe he let the Spaniard live. How was that a good idea?

Books I have finished
Tamora Pierce
- Mastiff
- In the Hand of the Goddess Book 1-4
- The Immortals Book 1 & 2
John Green
- The Fault in our Stars

I started reading TFioS while I was supposed to be sleeping at an overnight thing for the youth group, and that was a big mistake. The next thing I knew I was curled in a ball in my sleeping bag at four-thirty in the morning cursing John Green for being so fabulous as a wordsmith. Ugh.

I'm starting either An Abundance of Katherines or Havemercy next. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR NOVELS? I'M REACHING THE END OF MY TO-READ STACK.
