The new comment pages suck, yes. I'm not pleased with it, but I find Dreamwidth a bit of an eyesore to move myself over there permanently. If you're moving and would like to keep track of me there, I'm [rosivan]. With all the issues with LJ being down, I have a paid account here up until 2013, so I'm going to continue on here until it becomes too ( Read more... )

it's not the fact that my uncle had passed on that made me cry. It's the little things, like telling my cousin how my earliest memory was of him

I've lost a lot of people in my life, both relatives and friends, and honestly, this makes perfect sense to me. It might not, if you've little experience with this kind of loss... but yeah. Perfect sense.

That seems to be the way of it, I suppose. It's not what I expected, but I suppose it wouldn't be what I expect.

Also, I received your card! I love that we said practically the same things to each other XD

HEHE I GOT YOURS, TOO, on Friday. ♥ Vastly amused that we had some kind of Canadian hive-mind going on.

Also, I have been kind of obsessed with origami cranes for about a decade. >_> And my living room is red and white. It matches. ♥

I love Calgary. It makes me wish we still lived there (it's where I was born!)

It was really lovely, and a lot of family came in for it, so it was really nice to see everyone and hear about my uncle :)

FFF ♥ I'm glad you liked it! I also have your card! 8D And I picked up new postcards on my trip to send you~ You're back on the road soon?

sdfsdfsdf /excited

*twirls* *hugs* Got the lovely card. *SMISH* Mine might be a bit late, but I swear it's coming. <3

I'm also playing Skyward Sword. I really like it. How're you finding it?

I'm glad you're getting to go see Sam. :) Have a good time, and relax and enjoy yourself. You deserve it.

Lol, those kinds of experiances in airports are the best ones. I once spent 20 minutes conversing with a lady on the merits of TOS Trek verses NewTrek. Best boarding wait I've ever had. :)

*bookmarks the awesome on AO3* <3

I'm so-far cold-free, but that will probably change before/right around when school starts back up. :/ Enjoy it while you still have break, bb.

*HUUUUG*

Good to hear from you. Sorry if I just spit-up random word vomit on you there; slightly sleep deprived and lacking good amounts of concentration.

All good! Glad you have it~

I wish I had more time to play it is probably my biggest wish right now XD I was going to finish Skyrim first, but my brother got me the collector's edition of Skyward Sword and it came with the 25th Anniversary soundtrack and a gold wiimote and *_* Could not leave it alone. I just finished the first temple, so I'm not very far, but I'm used to the new controls and I'M NOT TOO BAD AT FLYING THANK GOD so that's pretty awesome.

If I started blogging about it would you talk about Skyward Sword with me? :0 I didn't think anyone on the flist was playing it!

She's coming here, actually! She should be landing about this time tomorrow. Hngrhgh. I still have a cold, so that sucks, but WHATEVER MAN.

I've never really had airport experiences like that, so I was pumped. Usually people just look at me disapprovingly whilst I eat my airport ice cream.

I don't mind the wordvomit <3 I like talky comments :3 Hope you're doing well!

LKSDJF ALSO PLAYING ON THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION. Isn't the wiimote pretty?! :D And, omg, it's so freaking addicting. I did the first temple and the second temple and only stopped because Mom got up for the day and looked at me for a second and went "have you been to bed at all??"

I'M NOT TOO BAD AT FLYING THANK GOD so that's pretty awesome.
*hand flails* RIGHT?! Omg, I was so worried that the controls would be IMPOSSIBLE for the flying bits, and I'd die every time I jumped off the launch pads. SO glad they're relatively simple. (Except sometimes I forget to flap and my poor loftwing just flails about. :( Poor loftwing.)

I WOULD LOVE TO TALK THE SKYWARD SWORD WITH YOU, OMG. I have such a guilty love of the Zelda games, I'd talk ANY of them with you. :C Now I really want to go re-play Majora's Mask, too. And Twilight Princess. SDLKJ Omg. *geekdom*

:D Well, that's even awesomer- you can save a bit of energy for getting better! Go out to dinner for a night, though. *hug*

Lol. The ice cream is disproportionately good. (And the coffee. ( ... )
