I both hate and do not hate the new LJ updating thingermahooey. New typing font is neato, but I dislike that I can't click anywhere in the box to drop my cursor. UPSETTING.
WENT AND SAW WICKED, TWO WEEKS AGO.
I've seen the show on Broadway and I never expected to see it at home, but I was lovely to see again. *__* Still beautiful, the stage set was still fantastic, and the Defying Gravity rig for Elphaba was used, so I was very pleased. I liked the Elphaba much better this time, though I don't know where I stand with the Galinda. She was...interesting in all the best ways of using that as a descriptor. XD Didn't like the Fieryo at first, but I SUPPOSE you're not really supposed to, so nicely done sir, YOU WON ME OVER.
I was so impressed with Elphaba, I can't even begin. I should check my program and see who it was, because seriously, guys, her Defying Gravity made it hard for me to breathe. Her voice was so amazing, and emotional. Hnugh.
Favourite company member waaaas a woman in a fabulous green pinstripe jacket for the Oz numbers - she had Gaga hair and wore ballet slippers, so she was randomly en pointe here and there during the songs. I adored her.
I also went and visited
stardustcities for the better part of a week, and I wish I could've stayed longer. Went to my first aquarium, and my first amusement park, got to see Cincinnati, AND I WENT THROUGH THREE STATES IN LIKE. A HALF HOUR. THE HELL, GUYS. I can now add Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana to my list of States I've been to.
It was really hard to leave, NGL. :/ I adore that girl. She's going to try and head up here for Christmas, so I'm really crossing my fingers for that one, because it is way too far to next summer. Ugh.
Partner in crime,
jaxinthebox made me get a stumble upon. SO MANY THINGS THE INTERNET'S BEEN SHOWING ME. I AM ENDLESSLY AMUSED DAMMIT. That's all I need, more things to distract me.

I've also joined up at oneword.com and it's actually really theraputic, surprisingly. Sixty seconds to write about whatever the word of the day happens to be. It's so freeing, I feel like my mind just goes BLOOP and falls loose.
I'm so tired guys.
Anyway, oneword.com. Totally worth it, I think.
Going to see Fright Night tonight (Tuesday). Someone better hold me and ANTON BETTER NOT DIE, I SWEAR TO GOD.
