TONIGHT WAS NOT THE WORST DRESS REHEARSAL I'VE BEEN TO, SO. THERE'S THAT.
I've done a dress rehearsal thinking that I'd be given backstage people, but when we got there, the director was like 'oh...you need help?' The play we were putting on? Pygmalion. Yeah. I was pissed. And on FIAAAAHHHH. Because it was me and one of the actors doing all the backstage. Hell yes.
This time I have three people! Which is plenty, considering what I've had in the past 8D Two stagehands and one kid who has to plug and unplug ights at the beginning of each number. :3
We're putting on a four-day variety night from '50s to '00s. Woosh. I'm just so glad everyone's so good at their shit. Oh, and it's also a dinner. X_X
So tiiiiiiiired. I need to do up light cues and the master list for stage side, still... Mghrfh. *curls up under the covers*
