Using only EPISODE names from ONE TV SHOW, cleverly answer these questions. Try not to repeat an episode title. It’s a lot harder than you think! Repost as "My life according to (show)".

Describe yourself: The Last of the Centaurs
How do you feel: Forgiven
Describe where you currently live: Athens City Academy of the Performing Bards
If you could ( Read more... )

OMG, XENA! I LOVE THIS! I CAN IDENTIFY EVERY SINGLE EPISODE AND THE SEASON!

Describe yourself: The Last of the Centaurs

Really?

Your best friend is: Them bones, them bones

This worries me slightly.

For your commentary, I pick the entirety of Sam and Dean trapped in 1960s Batman because it made me sooo happy:

"I'm BATMAN!" Dean practically crowed, grinning at Sam like it's the best thing that's ever happened to him during all of their show hopping.

"Yes, Dean," Sam sighed, knowing what exactly it meant for him. "You're Batman."

Before Sam could stop him, Dean went directly to the bust on the table of the study. Dean flipped it open and turned the switch. "TO THE BATCAVE!" Dean declares loudly. The bookshelf behind them slid open. Dean grined at Sam again.

They slid down the poles to the Batcave, (and that clothes change was now number one on Sam's list of Most Uncomfortable Things) and when they landed, Dean barely had time to savour the moment before a telephone rang.

"If we have to do an entire episode I will crash the Batmobile," Sam warned Dean, as he raced for the Batphone, his navy cape swirling behind him.

"That's fine," Dean said distractedly, and lifted the glass cover off of the appropriately labelled phone, "Robin did that once, anyway," he answered the phone. "Yes, Commissioner?"

"Oh my god," Sam muttered. He pulled at the bottoms of his costume.

Dean's eyes widened under his mask. "Catwoman, Commissioner? Seriously? ...yes, we'll go down there right away. We're on it!" He hung up the phone and turned to Sam. "He said-"

"Yeah, I heard," Sam interrupted. "We going?"

At the rate that Dean was grinning, Sam wouldn't be surprised if it Got Stuck That Way. "TO THE BATMOBILE!" He pointed in the direction of the car and made for the driver's side.

They hopped in the Batmobile, and Dean immediately started flipping switches and dictating what he was doing. "Atomic batteries to power!"

"Turbines to speed," Sam said flatly.

The theme music kicked in and soon they were zooming down the road, Dean gleefully singing along.

"Dean," Sam shouted. The sign ahead of them dropped down and they turned onto the road. Behind them, the sign popped back into place. "Dean!"

"Sorry, but that's not my name, is it, Robin?"

"Holy mistaken identity, Batman," Sam yelled. Dean laughs again. "Do you know where we're going?"

"Not a clue!" Dean yelled back. "I don't think it matters!"

The last thing that Sam heard was a strange bit of music and suddenly they were in a different tv program.

Ahaha, well, 'The Last of the Centaurs' sounded like the best choice from the episode titles. :3 And the other was supposed to be a reference to Bones McCoy, but. XD; Didn't work so well? I dunno.

DVD COMMENTARY OF 'TO THE BATPOLE!'
When I saw the prompt I think my inital response was something along the lines of 'ohhhh myyyyyyy.' One of my favourite Supernatural episodes was the one with the lucky rabbit's foot - and that's the one that Dean was all "I'm Batman" in, and since that I've always thought that it was his favourite superhero or something. It's fitting I think, like there's this superhero who isn't a mutant and doesn't have any special powers, persay... It always seemed like something that Dean would admire, especially after the episode in Supernatural where we find out that Sam was the one to give that amulet to Dean - it' the same episode that Dean tells Sam what their father really does, and the first thing that he tells Sam is that their dad is a superhero, and he so thoroughly believes it.

Anyway, so seeing the request for Sam and Dean and 1960s Batman, it was just too easy to write - I used to watch the series with my Dad, so it was easy to write the same sort of structure, even if I didn't get into the whole episode in the drabble. I chose Catwoman for the baddie, mostly because she's my favourite and because there's always been a flirtation between Batman and Catwoman - I didn't know how far I was going to write this, but if I'd gone on to the fight scenes and stuff, I would have wanted a bad guy that Dean could really react to. Considering his character, and the character of Batman, and perhaps a little bit of Gabriel's personality, Catwoman seemed to be the answer. (Plus, Dean/Batman hitting on Catwoman? HOT.)

In terms of Sam - I considered making a crack at the short shorts, but I opted for the 'Holy ___ Batman!' instead. The shortshorts joke didn't seem to fit as well with the rest of the drabble, and I really wanted to write something where Dean was having fun, or living out a character that he might watch and think 'I wish I could be that guy for one day'.

I ultimately ended the scene with the Batman swipe because it seemed fitting, and if I had continued on it probably would have gotten very very long. I didn't know how exactly to describe the transition so that's the reason I linked it - it was surprisingly difficult to find, by the way! You'd think there'd be more copies of that particular sound/transition kicking around, but NOT SO. I was somewhat upset. :|

I don't remember Robin crashing the Batmobile, but when I was reading up on the show for details of the study, it was mentioned somewhere.... I was trying to find a threat that Sam could make, and it seemed really appropriate. :D I also debated on how Dean would treat the Batmobile and the Batphone, and whatever, and at first I thought 'reverence' but then I figured Dean would probably act more like a kid in a toybox, rather than a man looking at childhood relics. However, I like to think that he reserves all the car-worship for his own baby, am I right? ;D

I have this scene in the back of my head where Dean's sitting out in a parking lot with the Impala telling her of the cool cars Dean got to meet/drive. "...but it's not like I had a choice, you understand that, baby? You'll always be my girl - I mean, I got to drive the Batmobile but I was still thinking of you, okay?" XD; I don't know. Something like that.

OMG THAT'S LONG. Anything in particular you wanted to know? XD;

I am just slow on the uptake and did not get the Bones reference. Now I really like it rather than worried.

Hehe at your commentary. I LOVE the idea of Dean/Catwoman! And that last scene with Dean in the Impala, telling her it didn't mean anything. And I have no real questions, this just makes me squee loudly!
