"Yes! Yes! This? It's wonderful!", or Cal has a CoTA nomination
I'm terrible at checking my messages on here. Normally I rely on the email coming through, but I had 32 messages to plough through, and look what I found!
I've been nominated for a Children of Time Award! Me! For my first proper full length Torchwood fiction! It was the one I wrote for reel_torchwood based on the Stepford Wives. I'm under the nomination categories of New Fiction and General.
You can read the fic here; I am over the moon, pleased as punch, and other superlatives. I don't know who nominated me, but I thank them. It was hard work writing the fic, and I was late handing it in, but I also have to thank madder_rose and fide_et_spe for their good humour and support in writing it. Despite the enriching and positive feedback that I got for the fic, this is like the cherry on top.
ETA: Just checked out the other nominees in the same categories, and I'm sharing with some awesomesauce writers - honoured to be rubbing shoulders with them!
