It's pretty funny, reading back through old entries, of my own and of others, or even just on Facebook and I realize how much time I wasted putting into relationships that gave nothing back. It seems like, in all aspects of life, the less of a fuck I give, the more successful I am; personally, professionally, whatever. Doesn't mean I'm selfish, or unkind, only wiser. I'll just enjoy this smug sense of self-satisfaction, because I usually don't.
