Hey I been in new york city almost a week now and it fucking rocks! The pizza is amazing! one slice was like a foot long and i almost couldn't finish it!!!! when were you ever not able to finish your first slice of pizza????
i dont see a lof of teens yet but i found some friends form boy scout camp in the bronx i be chillin wit, theres NO EMO here, i dont see ANY punks either, a lot of preps and gangstas and glam, i mean true glam you kiddies dont know what glam is and rockers but only on 8th st.
heres a breakdown of what i know so far:
4th street is hookers
6th-9th south is the rock and roll area, CBGB's where ths Ramones started out.
14th-23rd is gay adult area(Chelsea), and a good place to find a place to sleep with someone whos not gonna rape you
47th is times square not a lot of kids but a lot of bright lights and the biggest acradde you ever seen!
45-50 west is Hell's Kitchen
anything abover Central Park should be avoided lol but there's one area of the Bronx I can pretty much trust on 108
streets run left and right and avenues run up and down.
there are 12 avenues and about 200+ streets the city is like a grid.
hmm what else you wanna know? the people are a lot nicer than you think and Friday I got to go to my friend's school on Long Island as a guest! his school is anarchy compared to ours! you can bring friends in for the day, all the teacher sare chill, you can wear a hat, buy food between classes, hang out in the gym or in the halls, its pretty cool! and they have windows in every classroom!
theres under 21 clubs but not a lot of local bands, suprisingly we have a better local scene than nyc!. some of the magazines r complaining that the nyc punk scene is dying and its all in boston now...so apreciate our bands like CTK and 3 ft short and romero and your bitter end and DFTC.
anything yall wanna know ask. ill be here prob till at least the end of the week, i dunno im kinda winging it, its a great city a lot of fun. even...the cops...are nice...way nicer than falmouth pigs; they give me money and help me out.
i love hearing people talk with the brooklyn accent too, and they love my cape cod accent...when i said guitaa this girl flipped out lol.
havent seen ground zero yet maybe ill check it out tomorow.
ill be heading to PA soon tho, a lot of nice people there, so ill be in touch. btw i changed my password so whoever went on my screen name is a douche and now if you see billionbuckbaby online know its really me.
love you all!
peace,
CAleb
