It's supposed to rain all weekend in Chicago. I'm glad that I bought my umbrella. Just in time. Although I don't know if I really want to venture outside at all. It's so dark out.
I got a gig next week translating documents from Spanish to English at some company downtown. I'm not even sure what they do, but they're paying me $14/hr! I hope to hear back from the Swedish Bakery sometime next week. It doesn't pay that much, but it would be a pretty interesting job and it would be awesome to work so close to home.
I talk to a girl last night who's in a similar boat as me; jobless. It makes you feel better when you know that other people have been in a similar situation before. I've never had to worry about money as much as I have in the last couple of weeks. I guess I always took having financial aid and loans for granted. I'm lucky that I don't have any credit cards because I might be tempted to start charging them like crazy. I don't want to get in a hole.
