So while driving back down to Bakersfield, I was held up an extra 45 minutes in traffic due to a huge accident that involved five cars... eww...
While waiting I realized something really strange, out of the 9 X-Men that appeared in the 90s cartoon series, only 5 remain as part of the active roster. Jean is dead, Storm is in Africa, Jubilee doesn't have her powers, and Gambit is kinda crazy evil or something. I remember I was introduced to the X-Men with that animated series and always associated that team as being THE x-men, and now nearly half are left. Strange.
What's more strange is how much this is occupying my mind. heh.
