Man, inside jokes are so awesome!

And Dave had a pretty decent birthday, I would think- especially since my gift of a crappy, rip-off beyblade was totally topping his list!

I've always been incredibly disturbed by the cover, but I got into the title song accidently because of Domo-kun, and it's E.L.O. so it can't be *bad*, right?

My mum loves elo. She introduced my brother to their version of roll over beethoven, and he's like "wow, this is the greatest version ever!!!" and tried to convince me of that for several days.

I like Chuck's version better... and the beatles... I don't know why.

I don't know E.L.O. too well, but I'm all about Evil Woman, it's such a good song... and Xanadu, also, of course. Speaking of Chuck Berry, and covers of his songs, have you ever seen Young Einstein? It's compulsory viewing for knowing me: If you don't like it, you don't like me. And it just happens to have a rad cover of "Rock 'N' Roll Music", along with a bunch of truly excellent Aussie music. Unfortunately, it hasn't been in print since the early 90's and there is no DVD release in sight :( :( :(

Depresses the hell out of me...
