reality vs. dreams
this happened in real life:
i saw an amazing glacier and five black bears, rescued a dog who jumped out of a car window, fended off an angry ranger, threw snowballs, and hiked with a traveling german all in one day.
this happened in my dreams two nights ago:
josh and i went rafting with our company, only the "river" was water filled up in a ditch in my old neighborhood in hattiesburg, ms. the people we went rafting with were drunk and inarticulate, so we started drinking white russians* in the back of their pickup truck after the rafting trip. of course we got pulled over, but the cops didn't bust us for open containers because who gives a fuck in alaska? there was more, but i don't remember it all.
*we did watch the big lebowski the night before i dreamed this.
