Yep. I don't think I've really done anything at all productive today, aside of straighten up things on my desk, but that was more of a necessity, so that I might actually be able to use my desk to do something productive.
I was, however, watching anime. It's just my luck that I would have to stop at the worst possible places in Weiß Kreuz and in Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
In Weiß, I just finished episode 13 or so, and things are not looking good for our lovely Weiß boys! Schwarz (along with Takatori) is making them look bad by putting their name on random acts of violence that are harming innocent people, and Takatori has discovered the identity of Persia! Aya left Weiß to finally take his revenge against Takatori for putting his sister in a coma, and the other three were investigating when they got caught by army-types. But they can't fight without Persia's permission, and they haven't got it! But, they're about to... Persia is going to get all of Weiß back together, it seems, and give Aya permission to take his revenge as a member of Weiß! But Aya is just at the point of Farfello's dagger! Aieee! And, whoa, about Omi's background. The last few episodes have been really intense. I can't believe I never watched this far in before!
All in all Weiß Kreuz = teh awesome, and I can't wait to watch more. Bwaha.
Insert random thought: I haven't even had to think at reading the French subtitles on those episodes... Only a couple times have I had to replay a part of a scene to catch all the dialogue, but it's usually when the subtitles are only up for a quick second and there's hardly enough time to read anything! Yay for my level of fluency in French.
Jeanne seems to be at a rather crucial point as well, after 21 episodes. Chiaka is so definitely in love with Maron, and he can't even deny it to himself anymore, Maron accepts that she loves Chiaki, Sinbad is all of a sudden helping Jeanne (and Jeanne noticed that Sinbad called her 'Maron' when helping her!). And no one really knows if Sinbad and angel Access Time are really advocates from the Devil... They won't say either way! Maron is starting to be suspected of being Jeanne; Miyako even dreamt it! And, Miyako keeps getting closer and closer to catching Jeanne. Eek! Also, Sinbad is still uber-slick.
I think I need to do some productive stuff tonight... I'm studying stats with Alice in the library in a little bit, then after that I am thinking of writing up my cheat-sheet for the exam (Z's letting us have a whole 8.5" x 11" page!) and then watch some more anime. Maybe study a bit more for the exam. I kinda figure that I could do more damage than good if I study when I really have no motivation to do so. Especially since I've been kinda tired lately and have a rather busy few days ahead of me, after the stats exam... Anyway, should probably start getting things together to go study stats.
