--well, I do think there will be less attacks if you stop taking sheep that are not yours, but I do understand how tempting it is when you are very hungry and there seem to be so many of them. In any case, it is not at all fair that you and your treasure should be threatened by armed me who have no business interfering.

You are all rather tiny, even if most of you do breathe fire, so it simply makes sense to join together in order to defend each other, and to help each other hunt so that you do not have to take things that aren't yours.
Hmph, as if I have every had any trouble defending my own treasure.
And, yes, some of you do seem capable of fighting back, but you never know when you will end up facing a party of knights, or one who is particularly clever and sneaky. Also, while I know it is very nice to have many jewels, it is not so terrible to part with your things sometimes, if you give them to humans and they give you a nice fat cow in return.
Oh, can you really do that with these shiny things?
Yes, really. It is called commerce. Well, that is really all I have to say for now, and you will have to figure out who is to be leader on your own, but I have time for a few questions before I must leave.
What about princesses?
Oh, yes, you will have to stop kidnapping them, it is not very nice. But you should let them live with you if they want, or an humans, really, even if they are not a princess, because they are nice to talk to and can help buy you things. I am sure there are many princesses about to be unhappily married who would rather prefer to life with some nice dragons who have lots of treasure, but some are silly and think you might eat them.
