Is there really a world where people meet each other in such a way? It seems a bit silly to have to end a conversation just when it is beginning to get interesting. Still, I suppose the timing of the event makes sense, with Valentine's Day nearly here. I do not have a Valentine, of course, though perhaps Mei would be willing to be my Valentine if she were here. Though, perhaps she would not because they do not have Valentine's Day in China, and anyway, I think she would find it a bit frivolous. It is not as if I have every celebrated Valentine's Day before, but I did try chocolate once--it was very delicious, though hardly an entire mouthful to drink.
