Hey all, I'm new to the whole Calculus world so to speak.

Has anyone taken a course called: Advance Functions and Introductory Calculus ?

Is a grade 12 course, that I'm taking as correspondence.

It's tough teaching myself.

When I was in 11th grade I took AP calculus, and the following year our Calculus intructor offered an Advanced Math Topics course to make up for the lack of a continuation of the AP Calculus program (preparation for the BC section).
In the course we covered modeling teechniques with calculus, applications of linear algebra, regression formulae, basic programiming, circuits, function analysis, etc...
Since then I've had further studies in math, as is true of many of the members of this community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Someone's bound to be of some help.

Yes, I have taken it before. Are you from Ontario, per chance? That is the common moniker for grade 12 calculus in this province. What aspect are you having trouble with?

From my experience, I found the pre-calculus algebra to be trickier than the calculus. But when we finally got around to the calculus it all sunk in. Don't give up!
