I have had some recent developments happen this week. I got a boyfriend!!!

Last week I walked into the OA's office and there was this curly haired boy being interviewed. I looked at him, he looked at me and there was this instant connection. Well, he gets here on Tuesday, we start talking, and we start dating.

It has been the most wonderful four days of my life. We are actually talking about future plans. I'm not in love with him, but my feelings for him are stronger than with any other guy I dated. He wants to wait until marriage, which is definately a plus. It's hard having THE TALK with a guy and since he brought it up, it made it a whole lot easier.

His name is AJ (Allen James), he's from Sand Springs, and he's 18 years old.
He's also one hell of a kisser.

In other news, the work outside is going SSSLLLLLLLOOOOOWWWLLLLLY. Mr Walden got here on Thursday, went out to inspect our (my) work and said we needed to lay our bricks with extra thin mud. So we (I) took them down for the second time, mixed some concrete and laid them. My helpers kept walking off and I have nearly died of heat stroke, but now it's more than halfway done. It's funny, this project was started because the girls of last week were bitching about our substitute, and I end up doing all the work. Oh well, I like hard and dirty work, but not all day in 95+ degree heat with helpers who keep leaving. I've noticed I'm getting stronger. I can lift a 94 pound bag of portland cement by myself and take it to the mixer by myself. I can also push a wheelbarrow 7/8 full of sand and 1/2 full of concrete. And, I can lift our landscaping bricks (15 pounders) with one hand. It feels good to be stronger.

Time to list what I'm thankful for:

My pocket bible. Makes it easy to take the bible out and read during stressful moments.

We had cheese pizza today at lunch

I don't have as much work to do outside

I only have four more line items to mark off in Masonry

Mr Butler wants me in Carpentry

AJ. 'Nuff said.

I am hanging out with Dana tomorrow

God is powerful and in control

the AC works in my room
