Torchwood fic - Office Perils

Jun 28, 2007 23:33

Title: Office Perils
Pairing: Jack/Ianto
Rating: PG
Summary: “It seems to me, sir, that you’re becoming quite attached to my tie.”
Note: This is mylodon's fault. Completely. There I was, thinking that there's nothing remotely interesting about staplers when she casually mentions that this could happen. I'm innocent, I tell you *strikes dramatic pose*

Woot! *does happy dance* *kisses MSN as a means of diseminating plot bunnies*

Oh honey, this is just gorgeous. The middle section with all the flirting and sexual tension was just... *fans self*

Of course, you will cross post it (when it's had a tiny little priddying) an, of course, I will go and pimp it. Now.

Thank you for creating this.

One day MSN is going to get us into trouble *g* I still maintain that I'm completely innocent this time.

It's funny, the flirting and sexual tension weren't actually supposed to be in there as I was trying to get to the stapler part of the fic but this is Jack we're talking about *g* I kept having to echo the Doctor's "stop it!"

Oh all right, I'll cross post it. After I've made it better. Help? *begs* I know what's wrong with it, I just don't know what to do about it. I really should know better than to post something I finished 2 minutes previously, but I posted it thinking nobody but friends would ever read it (not that this is an excuse, but I write my journal only things for myself instead of for others)

Thanks for reading! (what will we come up with next?)

There is nothing wrong with it (well, there was at least one typo but you've corrected that and did you mean 'intents and purposes' instead of 'intenbsive purposes' or was that a play on words?)

I do feel mean that I'm always nagging you to cross post but it's ony cos your stuff is so good and it begs to be read.

I have a tie/braces thing banging about my noddle...

I have no idea what I meant, because I didn't know I'd written it. I think I must have meant 'intents and purposes' but I had to go looking for the line so don't ask me *g*

You're not mean, if I thought you were being mean I'd have called you on it ages ago :D I might post it tomorrow, I want to fiddle with it a bit first (there's waaaaay too many 'becauses' in one paragraph but I haven't found a solution to it yet.

Oooooohhhhhh. *grabby hands* Do tell.

Jack!

*dies*

This is hilarious. And HOT. I love it when my boys (yes they're MINE!) are happy. Squee!

Not because he was, more or less, bent over Jack’s desk (because he’d known since he’d started working at Torchwood Three that it would happen eventually)

YES!

BTW, Jack's braces/Ianto's tie is my latest OTP. XD

Yours? MINE! I like them happy too, because they're more likely to smile when they're happy and I go all flaily at their smiles *g* It's a hazard of fandom.

There should be more braces/tie fics. Just imagine what else they could do with them :P

Thanks for reading!

Found this via mylodon. Very very funny- I can just see that happening. My favorite line may be “If that’s all, sir, I believe it’s time to feed the pterodactyl.” *g*

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it *g* mylodon somehow came up with the idea of stapling Ianto's tie to the desk (while we were discussing the Doctor singing the Beatles. Long story *g*) so she's got to take some of the credit :P

This was great:) I once thought that stopwatches were boring but was told otherwise so I'm sure that interesting things could also happen with a stapler :P

I used to think that as well - who knew stopwatches could be so riveting? Although I think Ianto might be contemplating removing all remotely sharp objects from Jack's office now :D

Thanks for reading!

No worries :D I happily read anything that involves Ianto and Jack, Especially when it is well written.

I think we can leave a few of the sharp objects around - it will make for a few more interesting times :P

HAHA!! That was hilarious and fantastic!! It's so something that I would do, randomly stapling Ianto's tie to the desk. lol

Thank you!

I'd probably try to staple Ianto's tie to the desk intentionally just so he couldn't get away :P
