Hey, Livejournal, quick question. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO THE POST INTERFACE?
I'm half expecting somebody is going to tell me this change happened a year ago because it's been a year and a few days since I last posted here. I know I could change to the old version but I'm using the new (ish?) one out of curiosity and the inability to make life easier for myself.
So, hi LJ. It's been a while. I miss those long-ago days of mirth and madness, the people, the fandoms, the community. No site will ever match LJ for any of these things, but I'm currently pinning my hopes on Pillowfort for a more community friendly experience than Tumblr/Reddit/Twitter etc. (Let me know if you want a Pillowfort registration key; I've got a few to spare).
Fandom and the internet as a whole may have changed a lot since I last used LJ consistently, and I've changed even more, but I couldn't let 2018 pass without sticking my head in to say a belated Merry Christmas, and an early Happy New Year. May 2019 shine bright for you.
