(no subject)
I don't pretend to be well-versed in legalese, and no doubt I've signed my life away many times by scrolling through a number of Terms of Service without reading them, but I find some things in LJ's new ToS concerning and therefore I won't be updating this journal for the foreseeable future. I won't delete anything (yet) but I will be importing everything to Dreamwidth shortly so anything that's here can be found there. Who knows, this may turn out to be a storm in a tea cup and I'll be back here before anyone notices I'm gone but, for now at least, I'll be more comfortable at DW.
I'm calavarna at Dreamwidth and I'm also on Tumblr. I'd rather not put my Tumblr name in a public post but send me a message on DW if you want to be friends.
I'm sad to be leaving, even if I haven't been around much lately, because LJ was such a constant for me when I needed it most and I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't been Calavarna. For all its faults, LJ will always hold a place in my heart as the place where I made lasting friendships and carved out my little space in this vast expanse that we call the internet.
If this is goodbye, then thank you for making my time on LJ both amazing and absurd. If it's not goodbye, then I'll see you later. :)
