thank you for volunteering to make the season bright! doctor who is my fave fandom and i never get to take part in yuletide because the fandom is too big for it, so this is awesome!
i would love a fic with twelve, martha, and mickey. i've wanted this ever since capaldi's first episode and frankly the idea only looks better with the passage of time. this fic could be shippy or gen -- i can see either with this threesome. i'd love to see them in a proper adventure, or something tropey like being trapped somewhere together; fake married; only one bed; for some reason the doctor is undercover on an assignment with them and has to pretend to be normal; etc. i would also love a fic where they play a boardgame or go shopping at space IKEA because martha saw a bed there once when she was traveling with the doctor and it was the most comfy bed ever and she and mickey decide to call the doctor up to see if he'll give them a lift so they can buy it for their new flat. will they be interacting? will there be dumb dad jokes? will they all be cute together? (will there maybe be forehead kisses?) if so, then i will be delighted.
i'd love to see them about the age they are in real life, so there's been some passage of time on both sides. i see martha and mickey as people who both had very intense relationships with the doctor (and he with them, because, well, ten), but now that some time has passed they are able to enjoy each other. i've always thought the doctor was the reason that mickey would have started to figure out he was a bit bisexual (solidified by meeting his alternate universe self's actual boyfriend...) so a shippy fic could be the three of them deciding to have a bit of fun without all the angst they all used to carry for each other. but like i said, shippiness isn't required! just awesomeness. <3
