And some other things...
Continuing, um, musings about The Power of Three:
- It is surely a bit lolarious that the Doctor is telling Mr Weasley that the Ponds will never die when, in fact, they have died. Especially his son. A lot.
- Apparently Kate will be quite possibly back? Cause this is being called her 'debut' by the offical Who Twitter and there was a spoiler about a character turning up this half-season who's recurring and I am really really hoping they're talking abut her and not Rory's Dad.
- I have spent a lot of this evening asking questions like "what would it be like for Kate to meet Martha? They've got to know each other, surely? Or she's definitely heard of her. And of course she knows Liz Shaw, who was totally her mentor. And she goes to the UNIT Christmas parties at (retired) General Bambera's house. And maybe Ancelyn taught her sword-fighting. OMG I HOPE SHE MEETS RIVER AT SOME POINT. That would make me happy. One of those episodes where the Doctor is barely in it...and then they can have an adventure...and maybe Madame Vastra will turn up and there will be swordfighting and Madame Vastra will be all wtf are you doing? and Kate will say she learned it from her ex-boss's husband who is an interdimensional knight sworn to King Arthur, don't you know?"
I like it when telly engages like this and causes such glee. It's rather fun.
