The Five Doctors - 25th Anniversary DVD thingie

Y'know, the year I am actually older than these 25th anniversary things, I am going to freak out a bit. But that's in The Distance, just now I have a Beautiful DVD of the blasted story that started my rather unfortunate love of Doctor Who. So it's full of shiny, shiny nostalgia. And stuff! I only just bought The Five Doctors, but that DVD does look mighty tempting. Oh, that last picture makes me explode with glee a hundred times over. HAT ON K9!

It is quite a bit yaysome as the UK only had a vanilla release orginally and this one has both version of The Five Docs and two commentaries and Stuff! I like Stuff.

Maybe the US version has the two as well? I do not know. But it's the original telly version, the one that was first released on video. And the one what they added in some cut scenes and souped up the special effects that was released with Black Orchid on VHS and then was the first UK DVD release.

Nope. The US version has the "first UK DVD version", with additional commentary by Davison and Terrance Dicks (which was added back onto the British version for this re-release as it wasn't on the original UK discs). We don't have the Proper, As Broadcast version yet...

You should, yes. It has everything the US version has and more. I wish they'd hurry up and release this version over here in the US... :(
