A response to the Chase and Jack Winter Challenge for the Snowflake prompt. Happy Festivus... wonders if anybody remember Seinfeld? A special thanks to dmitchell1985 for betaing this story.

It was quite an interesting sight.

Chase Young concluded, as a single snowflake landed on the tip of his nose. He was trespassing onto the snowy grounds of the vast Spicer estate. As the evil overlord approached the commotion, he did not know whether to be amused at or perturbed by Jack Spicer's choice of playmates.

The evil boy genius was currently crouched behind a shattered wall of snow and ice. The boy ducked as a flurry of snowballs whipped past his head. Chase frowned; in such a bland background, his red hair flashed like a beacon. The lizard man sighed, 'The boy must also be taught in the art of warfare.'

Spicer was engaged in a "snowball fight;" his opponents were a handful of Jackbots and his allies another group of Jackbots. Young frowned; for the boy's own personal amusement, he had allowed his security to become slack and pitiful. Neither the Jackbots nor their master took any notice of the dragon lord until he casually sauntered into the middle of their battlefield.

Silence. Jack, his mouth agape and his white cheeks rosy, froze and dropped the snowball he was about to hurl as if his arm had gone completely numb. Unfortunately, one of the opponent Jackbots, an older model with poor artificial intelligence, picked up a snowball and threw it at the warrior.

Jack gulped. It looked like it was going to be a direct hit, and seemed like it would be just the fuse to ignite Chase Young's wrath.

Splut! The redhead blinked and tilted his head to the side. The ancient warrior, hands crossed behind his back, stood tall and proud; the only snow on his armour were the snowflakes that drifted from the sky. It was as if the snowball had passed right through him.

The Jackbot responsible for the act stiffened at Young's icy glare and turned to its fellow robots for support. The whole lot of Jackbots shook their heads and propelled away, whistling a tune of bleeps and blorps. The Jackbot then turned to its master, who blinked his red eyes and shrugged. 'What am I supposed to do?' Jack thought.

The robot turned its head to and fro and then twisted its headpiece in a 360° angle, saluted, and then self-destructed.

"That was quite an interesting strategy and a wise decision," Chase rumbled, as bits of debris flicked past him. "Too bad his creator does not carry the same sense in certain scenarios," the man sniped as he shot Spicer a superior look.

The redhead placed his gloved hands on hips. "Hey, I think it’s a good thing that I don't have a self-destruct button," the teenager countered as he gazed at his idol, dressed in his usual attire. It seemed he was all dragon fire, even in such cold weather.

The overlord shrugged and the two evil-doers went into a silence. Jack fidgeted, debating internally whether he should voice his question. He made up his mind when Chase sensed his discomfort and sighed, "Out with it, worm," the man drawled as the boy cringed.

"Ah, well, Chase, not that I dislike you being around here… with me, but why exactly are you here?" the technological genius questioned tentatively and began to back up when the older man stalked forward, the overlord's hands reaching out for his coat.

With a squeak, the young man was hauled off his feet and pulled towards Chase, held so that they were eye to eye. "It came to my notice, Spicer, as well as the monks, the witch, and that foolish vegetable that you have been absent for some time, missing numerous showdowns, and now here you are.” The eternal youth gave the teenager a shake. “Where have you been the past few weeks?" Young asked.

Unable to take his cold gaze any longer, Jack shifted his eyes away from Chase to stare at the ground. "I--I had to take a trip with my parents. My folks were getting a little worried that I wasn’t learning the tricks of the trade and they wanted me to start my... social grooming,” the boy muttered and tried to shy away from Chase’s grip. “Thankfully, I was able to construct an aircraft from some project a rival company was making and jetted back home. Although I doubt Mom and Dad will be too pleased. I think there were plans of merging with that company," the boy said, a thoughtful look crossed his feature as his ears twitched to the softest of chuckles.

"As usual, only you, Spicer," the man laughed as he dropped the youth harshly onto the ground, "are capable of such foolishness." The overlord smirked as he watched the evil boy genius shakily collect himself and get back on his feet.

With a nod, the ancient warrior turned his back on the boy. "I believe I shall be leaving now, Spicer, off to visit the monks. Omi and the others have been slipping during your absence," the overlord said as he began to walk away, his ears picking up the sound of shuffling footsteps.

For a second, Chase thought the boy had launched an attack against him. Perhaps mentioning the monks or Omi had sparked some sort of jealousy within the boy, but Chase was proven wrong when he felt a length of soft material wrap shakily around his neck. The older of the two evil doers fingered the woolly scarf around his jugular and raised his brow at the garish colours that only Spicer, and perhaps the clown-faced witch could find fashionable. He turned to the boy, his eyebrows raised with his unspoken question.

"Just in case you get... cold," Jack muttered softly but knew it wasn't likely, the icy winds and chilling snow didn't seem to faze the man at all.

The teenager began to rethink his stunt, when his idol grew still and silent and fixed him with cold, yellow eyes. When the warrior reached towards the woolly article, Jack expected it to be thrown right smack in the middle of his face, and then to find himself stomped into the ground. However, when he saw Chase straighten the scarf on his neck, Spicer wondered what type of pole-axed face he could have made to make Young stop his grooming and frown instantly. "Cha-- Chase..." Jack began, but was interrupted.

"That was a stupid and suicidal move you pulled, Spicer, even for you." the evil man snorted as he glared mildly at the gaudy scarf tied to his neck, then shifted his glare to his admirer. The redhead cringed and took a few steps backwards and Chase stepped forward closing the distant as he grabbed the youth's shoulders and hauled him close. "However, I must commend your spirit, worm, every idiot needs a reward now and then.” Chase jabbed his finger into the middle of Spicer’s forehead. “I suppose I don't have to go and check on the young monks at the moment."

Jack blinked at the villain, the lizard's man words not sinking into his head. "Huh?" he bleated stupidly as the dragon lord growled and poked his forehead again, this time a lot harder so that the skin turned red.

"It means, you twit, that I am willing to spend the remainder of the day with your pitiful self," Young snarled, frightening the boy that he stumbled awkwardly, twisting his body and tripped, his face smacking into the ground. Chase resisted the urge to slap his palm on his face as the evil boy genius raised his head; the snow was packed around his face in a comical manner as he smiled goofily up at his hero... errr, evil hero.

"Great! You are not gonna regret this, Chase. I’ll show you all the joys of the winter season," Jack chirped, not noticing the look of dread settling on the man's youthful face. Although the boy loved his Jackbots and all of his other robotic creations, the thought of playing with someone not made of metal and wires fuelled the spring in his steps as he directed Chase deeper into the Spicer grounds.

:p:

So far, all of Jack’s attempts to have Chase enjoy the winter season had ended in utter failure. The attempt to make snow figures ended terribly. While Jack was finishing the touches on his snowman, or snow-cyborg, he noticed Chase fluffing the tail of a very cute and docile looking snow-cat. Unable to hold back his laughter, Jack soon found himself pegged into the middle of his snow-cyborg and then decorated by his irate idol. He almost had a carrot shoved up his nostril.

The teenager shivered as he then remembered how he tried to convince Chase to go tobogganing with him on one of the small hills on the Spicer estate. The dragon lord seemed a bit intrigued when he saw a pair of Jackbots go whizzing by on a flying disc. The evil boy genius was so elated Chase had agreed, albeit a bit reluctantly, that he became even more clumsy than usual and his carelessness caused him to lose his footing and slip. He tumbled painfully down the hill while Chase watched, looking amused and satisfied.

The redhead twitched his nose, 'Come to think of it... did he push me?' Jack questioned and let it slide as he hung his shoulders. The youth glanced at his idol, the cold indifference in his golden eyes was very much apparent. The redhead bit his lips unable to decipher Chase's mood, wondering if it was irritation or boredom that Chase was feeling. The teenager cringed, 'Who am I kidding? This wasn't for Chase to enjoy the winter season, this was for him to enjoy spending some time with me... Maybe, I should send him off or something, before things get even worse.'

The robotic genius opened his mouth to suggest that Chase ‘take his leave or go check on the Xiaolin Losers, when a snowflake landed upon his lips and then it him. "Hey, hey, Chase, try this it's real fun. You must have done this when you were hum-- younger," the boy crowed as he closed his eyes and stuck out his pink tongue.

The evil warrior snorted and crossed his arms in front of his chest as he watched a few snowflakes land on the boy's darting pink tongue. Young stiffened and narrowed his eyes as he began to focus on the pink appendage. The teenager laughed and quickly licked his lips, then stuck out his tongue again.

Jack could feel his cheek muscles twitch as he tried to grin with his tongue sticking out, when he saw the overlord stalk closer and finally open his mouth. 'Heh... its working... err OH MY GO--,' the boy thought as a gloved hand reached towards, him fisting into his jacket and he was once again tugged towards the warrior.

With a guttural snarl, Chase slipped his tongue against Jack’s. Cupping the boy's round cheeks, he pulled him closer so he could seal his lips over his admirer’s. Young shuddered at the cool feeling on Jack’s tongue, but continued to lap at it and pressed harder against the boy's lips.

Spicer emitted a whine and the evil man wasn't too surprised when the boy tried to get away, but like the pieces of snow that landed on the teenager’s tongue, his resistance melted. Jack pressed up against the warrior, responding to the kiss and opened his mouth wider. Chase growled softly when the boy sucked in his bottom lip and gave it a nibble.

Chase's assault on Jack's mouth had caught the teenager off guard and frightened him nearly out of his socks, but he was not unprepared for it. After all, the redhead had been fantasizing about kissing Chase Young ever since he stumbled upon his name on a Google Search Engine and later in old Chinese textbooks. Now, the youth nearly matched the overlord in passion, moving his lips hungrily as Chase bit the corner of his lip. Their kiss was nothing but a tangle of tongues, lips, and teeth, something hot and raw, as if they could never get enough of one another.

The dragon lord's pointed ears twitched as he heard the boy emit another series of wanton whimpers, signalling his limit and Chase groaned his annoyance as he ceased his mouth from gulping down every last drop of breathe from the boy. With a frustrated sigh, the elder of the two evil-doers broke the suction between their lips, a silvery trail of saliva suspended in the cold air was the only evidence of their union. He assessed the boy's state and noted the dazed look in the boy's red eyes.

With a gurgle, Spicer’s ruby eyes rolled behind his head and once again he crashed head first into the ground a goofy, smile curled onto his bruised lips.

Young sighed, but could not dismiss the powerful smug feeling that curled in the pit of his stomach. And with a laugh, he stuck out his tongue against the winter element. With a smirk, the warrior noted Spicer was right, as a snowflake landed on his nose.

'This was fun'
