Jan1ce. Wow, we've had a ton of snow. I'm trying to make this year different. No real resolutions other than this one:
I resolve to live every minute of my life
It came out of a speech that someone pointed out to me and I am going to put the bits of it here that I liked - because I so often forget:
There are these two young fish swimming along, and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says, "Morning, boys, how's the water?" And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes, "What the hell is water?"

It is about simple awareness - awareness of what is so real and essential, so hidden in plain sight all around us, that we have to keep reminding ourselves, over and over: "This is water, this is water."
