Surely, a man changing to a woman is going to end up being a woman with

- hair length the same as it was when they were a man (in most cases, short as). Because hairdressing is not a part of your genetic makeup.

- hairy legs, armpits and everywhere else that women tend to shave that men don't

Oh heavens. Are fic writers naturally stupid or did they get badgered into it by bad American films who don't understand the meaning of gender expression? Gah.

And, yes, exactly, to the problem with your new tuition scheme. No matter how much you can pretend that having to pay something back "only when", the position from which you start (daddy pays your education for the most part -- like me) determines where you end up in the long run. You can only eliminate that by keeping education affordable and giving grants, not loans, to people whose parents earn too little.

And I do say this as someone who only pays <£2,000 tuition, and STILL has a grant: I have ENOUGH DEBT.
