I seem to be the only person (judging from a quick flick round) but I don't really have a problem with Sam not being there. She's The Man. The Men don't get to do fun stuff. There is always going to be that mad contingent in fandom that completely "forgets" the fact that we've been told Sam will only be in 14 episodes this season.

So when they complain that they didn't see her in an episode, I'm like "grow up already". It was clearly a McKay (squared) episode and there was nothing in the storyline that could have utilised Sam to maximum effect.

To be honest I felt a bit "meh" about the first half of the episode.. but midway it picked up. I loved the Rodney/Jeannie banter. Kept thinking this is a window into the sibling arguements that must have gone on between David and Kate.

And Ronon... hawt!

I just love the teaser for Zelenka, who is pocket sized and bops people over the head with a metal pole, and the snarky blonde scientist..

The same could be said for those who missed Jack in S8-S10 or those who fought to bring Daniel back or those who lobbied about Janet or Carson or Torri... (I'm assuming you told them to "grow up", too, from Caladria's reply to your comment?:D ( ... )

On the contrary actually. I would never begrudge anyone for their feelings regarding the loss of a favourite character. Jack is one of mine, and I do know there was much anger after his departure. Whereas my feelings about him leaving have settled, I understand that that is not so for everyone ( ... )

(I didn't meant to say *you* had a hard heart, btw, just that *I* couldn't harden my heart to avoid being upset when Sam isn't on! I'm just too wimpy/fangrrrl crushy-mushy about her...)

I wasn't attacking people who miss Sam when she's not there...because I'd be attacking myself which is hard to do and that's how you break a hip.

Oh, is THAT how my granny did that?!?!? - LOL
