At their arrival, the new residents decided to stay together at the center of the island and join forces to start.
After analazing the topography of Formouth ( the newly named Island), they thought about where the best place to build an city would be and mount their camp there.
That gave them a chance to geet to know each other, even if they're kind of competitors, it's no reason to stay isolated.
The amount of furniture they were allowed to take wasn't big but when they brought it all together, it was more then enough to build a lovely and cosy camp bringing a "homy" feeling.
The first day was tough for Townley, even though she's on a beautiful and mysterious Island, she couldn't find inspiration.
Meredith had more than a plateful of insects to capture. Everywhere she looked, there was an other species she had never saw and she started the chase as soon as she was unpacked.
... And at some point it's the insects that started to chase after her.
Hiromoto didn't wait for a second, he made some calculation and found the best place to start digging to find some trace of the Xylopathians.
Sir Wellington stayed quiet most of the day, reading all the books talking about the island that he could find.
At the end of the day, Townley and Meredith started to prepare some food. Haven't seen the Sgt Duncan or Hiromoto for the day, they thought it would be a good occasion to bring everyone together and share some details on their goals and previous lives.
Unfortunately Hiromoto said he prefered to keep digging and Sgt Duncan only came back once the food was gone, he was exploring the nearest place and found 3 nice place for them to move. He also looked a bit frighten and preoccupied, always watching the forest nearby and glancing at every sound.
He quickly suggested that everyone go to sleep. Since he was starting to freaking everyone out, they all went to sleep.
When they woke up, they were all amazed to face an freshly dug up entry of the ancient sity of Xylopath.
Sir Wellington, after all his reading, found enough elements to be sure where to dig. Hiromoto was really close and did most of the work all day long under the burning embrace of the sun so he wasn't too happy seeing the rich guy exposing all the treasure he had already found.
All of this was like a bomb detonation for all the others. They stayed silent for a few minute, letting the informations sink in as the watch the happy historian ready to leave the camp and start his new life.
As soon as Sir Wellington was gone, the 2 other guys started the dig like crazy, hoping the historian didn't left with all of the good stuff. After all they aonly found an intrance and in was supposed to be a huge city.
The second lucky sim was Hiromoto who found a big chest full of gold and gems.
He showed everything he found and announced his departure.
Sgt Duncan was used to physical work and with only his arms, he uncovered the first room of the ruins and with that, his first part of the treasure.
Seeing everyone finding expensive stuff and not having draw a single paint, Townley had a major break down. Meredith called the Doctor who recommanded to the poor young girl to leave the camp and try to start over and maybe finally find inspiration.
She was the only one who created a link with each of the sim in the camp so she was the only one who would be missed.
Well... that's what they thought until they found out she left with some of the stuff Duncan dug up. That little cute thief.
