Okay.
Two new fandoms have come into my life in the last few months....Magnificent Seven (the TV series) and Torchwood. The former, cause I just can't resist Ezra Standish and his conman, gambling ways, and it's a Western, I love westerns.... and the later, well it's torchwood, and it has Jack, and Ianto and it is every slash fans fantasy, and season two had James Marsters...which makes life even better, and sci-fiction which I also love.
So, I've ben running around reading everything I can get my hands on with regards to these..and it's been fun.
My writers block is, it appears a permanant situation, but I continue to TRY and work past it, no luck so far.
I got loads of my course material from the Open University (and how bad is it that I really wanted to type, the Unseen University then...damn dicsworld)...for the geology course I just started...hoping to work my way towards a geosciences degree eventually.
I started looking at houses the other week, thankfully the prices seem to be dropping slightly nearer to my price range, so I may be able to move out of my parents place within the next few months...which will be nice.
I got more Reckless Kelly CD's...how much do I love this band, the answer, a lot....and I have two Barenaked ladies CD's coming in the post...I like getting new music,it's always fun.
Oh and I got hold of a copy of the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which is a fun read.
I was watching Due South repeat over xmas, which was fun, I never get tired of seeing those.
So yeah, nothing much going on really, but I'm hoping to be more active online again, though only if the school/geology thing doesn't bury me...considering I'm still working full time, it just might.
