Finally decided to spring for a paid membership so that I can post more interesting stuff. Since my first posting, Cali and I competed at the September PAC AKC in Ridgefield, October KDF AKC in Klamath Falls, and November MCDF AKC in Albany.
The year ended with quite a bang. In Ridgefield, we had a triple-Q on Friday and earned Excellent titles in STD and FAST. In Klamath Falls, we ran our first Premium STD course and Q'd! (oh so fun) Then, in Albany we finally had our third Excellent JWW Q and "graduated." I could not be more pleased with our teamwork and my enthusiastic teammate. And, in truth, an important part of the fun is what happens in between runs, when we are ringside with our friends. I am blessed to have met so many amazing agility-running women in the past year. Who knew? I just love this stuff. Best fun in I don't know how long.
I created a video collage of some of our proudest moments from our last couple of trials.

So, now, the waiting for trials to start up again in 2016. In the meantime, we practice and hone skills at the agility barn. And, in just two weeks, the winter solstice celebration. One of my favorite times of the year. I love watching the days slowly grow longer and waiting for the first signs of spring (which can come as early as late January here in the Pacific Northwest).
Life is sweet.
