the thrill of the night
alright so i was walking around campus this evening, and i realized two things. First that tonight is the best night that we are going to have for a long time. the air is warm, but not hot. Just warm enough for shorts and a short sleve shirt. there is a slight breeze the rustles the dried and falling leaves in the trees, and stirs up the leaves that have already fallen to the ground. The crickets are still chirping providing music for the evening. most everthing is peaceful. Only a few people outside walking back to there dorms this evening, and some couples that have already laid claim to the benches. the leaves have changed color, so what light there is reflects a wonderful painting from the trees that line campus.
Two, I realized how much I wanted someone to share it with.
but whatever, i guess things will happen in time and I just have to trust that, and I can always say that there will be more nights similar to this one in the future.
