the smell of hospitals in winter, and the feeling that it's all a lot of oysters, but no pearls
and all at once, you look across a crowded room to see the way that light attaches to a girl.
it's been a long december and there's reason to believe maybe this year will be better than the last, i can't remember all the times i've tried to tell myself to hold onto these moments as they pass.
today was the last day of school, with the exception of finals next week. what a year, what a year. summer is already here? how did that happen? but i can honestly say that for the first time in a long time, i'll be welcoming it with open arms. tonight summer begins with a movie and pizza making with jordan, jared, and danielle. and tomorrow i will be spending a day in boston with the best guy that i know. =) hello summer, here i come!
