This was a pretty fun weekend in comparison to most. Friday went to the dance kind of. someone supposedly stole the ipod(the main gimmick of the whole dance)but i bet they never even had one to start off with. They're just sitting there laughing thinking, "look how many people actually stayed for the raffle, and what did they get, oh no not an ipod but a chance to win some harry conick jr. cd. Either that or they're are complete tards leaving an ipod unattended with a bunch of 20 year olds.
so after that i went home. Listened to mary sing we are the champions, wow! she's a better singer then me. Then Eric's band came. They were all pumped cuz they had just played a really good show in salem, they also brought two extra boys with them. Needless to say there were 6 really weird boys, then janet and me. I made janet have a sleep over with me in bed. our butts touched all night, how romantic. she also says i talked in my sleep all night. buh, ellie wallace talk in her sleep, thats absurd!
Woke up the next day around 10, we all fought for the showers. Then i made about a million pancakes, they were really good. Eric and his A.D.D. self was way to done with sitting around so we all left and went and visited janet at valsets. Then we ventured over to goodwill, and then probably heaven for me. It was this 4 story thrift store called H2O in would you believe it dallas. I got some gloves, a cool fake orange pearl neckless, some blue earings, and the steal of the night janet and i bought a pair of orange 70's rocking chairs for only 25 bucks.
We went home ate pizza, then jackie and i went with all the boys to the mall and then to there show. It was really entertaining. They were fascinated by this sword shop and we spent at least a half hour in there, watching videos of knifes and also looking at all the "cool!" knifes. Went to the place they were suppose to play at but it was way to small and not what they expected, so they called the place they played the night before and got added on as the opening act. We booked it over there cuz they were on in about 30 min. It was really fun. Jackie and i got in free, we felt pretty special. There set was okay but they were kind of rushed so it wasn't as good as it could have been. The best was when luke the lead singer got tangled up in the cords and fell. it was seriously slow motion. he played it off really well though.
stayed for about 4 more bands then janet justin and i went home. watched saw, but it wasn't as scary the second time.
now i have to study for an art history mid term, but i'm very unmotivated. well back to work at the library even though nobody's here because of the super bowl.
