The biggest moral question now facing our generation is whether or not it is okay to make a movie that is 100% about will smith in which will smith dies. Especially when the there are so many potentially better endings - "Sorry Ethan, my blood and research are way more important than some punk kid with dorky hair. This is mommy and I's dark secret for the rest of our lives."
That's how it should have ended. Not with some Christy, underhanded message about "listening to god's plan.". It was a kickass movie right up until the dog dies. Then it takes a hard left turn, will smith makes a lot of rash decisions, and once again the black man dies first and the woman ruins everything.
