I just finished reading Young Wizards #5, The Wizards Dilemma, and damn has it been a long time since I cried this hard over the ending of a book. I think the last one that made me tearbend so much was either the last book of the Princess series: The Snow Queen's Shadow, or my most recent reread of Half-Blood Prince.
I think I'm going to take a break from this series to recover from the emotional trauma, and read something fun and stupid, like the next book in the Monster High series. Unless the author has dramatically improved between writing the first book and the second book, it shouldn't be emotionally engaging enough for me to give even half a fuck what happens to any of the characters, so I have no worries about getting all depressed over it.
