Yesterday I was reminded once again why I love yard sales so much. I came home with a pair of jeans, some capris, a Christina Aguilera CD, a mint condition Monster High Frankie Stein doll with her stand and accessories, a bracelet, four stuffed animals for my dogs to tear up (which they've already done), and four baby watermelon plants, and I didn't even spend $20. Hooray for being a cheapass! \o/
Today I went and saw Sharif. I was hurting too badly to ride, but I managed to deworm him and give him a good grooming and lots of treats. I also took plenty of pictures, but what else is new, right? He's looking good, and thankfully he's almost done shedding. He was a bit antsy, though. I think it's 'cause I groomed him in the barn aisle instead of in the wash rack this time. He's not used to it, but he's just going to have to get over it, 'cause some days I just can't carry the grooming kit that far. Also, I think he was pissed 'cause I put sunscreen on his nose, and he hates that. Again though, he'll just have to deal. Can't have him getting skin cancer from sunburns, after all. It's the downside of having a pink nose.
I still haven't written my response paper for The Company of Wolves, mostly 'cause I still have no idea what else to say about it. I'm thinking of watching a fourth movie and doing my last paper on it instead (we have to write three one-page response papers on movies/books that are relevant to our specific interest; in my case, werewolves). I did my first paper on the MST3K movie Werewolf. It's a sucky movie, but was easy to write about. I filled the whole page before the movie was even half over. Anyway, the next one I'm going to watch is Teen Wolf, but I haven't decided what the next one should be if I decide to not write about The Company of Wolves. Any recs, dear flist?
Skyrim-wise, my pink Argonian, Ghost of the Fen, just married the sarcastic woman of her dreams, Lydia. Now they are truly a battle couple. Ghost is also a werewolf (having completed the Companion questline), and is also a heavily armored demon with a battle-axe and is also a pyromaniac and a psycho-electro. In other words, a battlemage. She's certainly not feeding into the stereotype of Argonians being thieves and murderers, why the very idea! The skooma stereotype is true, though. She knows that the College at Winterhold needs her to hurry up and save the world from them, but there are just way too many interesting caverns and ruins just begging to be explored, so she's a little distracted at the moment.
Anyway, next order of Skyrim business is figuring out who Teliil should marry, since Karliah isn't an option. Decisions, decisions.
