Saw Lion King in 3D with dad tonight, which was lovely and amazing and actually didn't give me a headache this time. Such beautiful animation and music, even if I did cringe every time they pronounced it "Hakuna MataDA" instead of "Hakuna MataTA," with the hard 'T,' as is proper. That's just me being obsessive about a language I grew up with (and barely speak anymore, for shame), though. Anyway, there were a few noisy kids there, but they were easier to tolerate than those screaming brats at Captain America. For one thing, they weren't nearly as loud. For another, they actually listened (briefly) when their parents shushed them. And finally, they were actually at an age-appropriate movie. So, yeah. Not that big of a deal this time around.

In other news, I don't want to talk about the grandparents situation, because it's too depressing at the moment. So instead I'll talk about the stables. Sharif is looking great, and was super affectionate with me today, which cheered me up considerably. Little Foot is doing all right, and oh, did I mention that Ellie and Topacio -two horses that were there when I first moved Sharif there- are back? It's wonderful to see them again, as they're both great horses who get along well with Sharif. I'm also glad for Mr. Don, as for a while I was his only boarder, and I know he could use the extra income.

And now have some pictures of Sharif, Homey and Max.

He's smug because he has an awesome sleeping-spot.

I also never get tired of dem ears. I still want to put him in my car and take him home with me, but then Sharif would be lonely, 'cause they're best pals.

He knows I can't resist that adorable face.
