Darla, the barn dog? She's in labor right now. In fact, she went into labor about five minutes after I got to the barn. While she was in the car cuddling with my mom, in fact. All over my seat, to be specific. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for the main event, but Lisa promised to keep us posted on the latest developments as they happen. Also, more good news on that front: it turns out that the father is also a chihuahua, so we don't have to worry about the puppies being too big for her to deliver.
