My body still feels like crap, but I'm doing better emotionally right now. There are several reasons for this.
1. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Yeah, I get the hype now. Time to go icon-hunting.
2. Mom and I got to hang out together today, which doesn't happen very often lately, as most of her time is spent taking care of her parents. We checked out the new antique store/used bookstore/Amish grocery on Floridatown Rd. I bought a mint-in-package Quark action figure, three Pratchett novels (Equal Rites, Mort and The Light Fantastic; I gave the latter two to Dad) and a pecan praline, which it turns out I'm mildly allergic to. Pretty tasty, though. After that, we went to the stables for a quick visit. Speaking of,
3.
His name is Little Foot, and he's a 3-year-old Shetland pony and he's so cute I just want to EAT him. They even have a little cart for him! When I got there Mr. Don said, "Hey, your horse shrank!" Shortly thereafter, Lisa came out and said, "Hey, your horse had a baby!" XD Anyway, he just got gelded a few weeks ago, so he still thinks he's a stallion, and that Cowgirl and Sharif are his mares. Yes, Sharif. Well, he's not the first to make that mistake and he won't be the last. Anyway, CUTE!
4.
He is shedding like a motherfucker and desperately needs a bath. Still my pretty princess, though.
5.
He likes to nap in weird places.
6. Pokemon! I've just left Accumula Town, and my team so far consists of Riptide the Oshawott, Wilhelmina the Lillipup and Rhoda the Patrat. They all rock, but I'm planning to heartlessly replace Rhoda as soon as something more appealing comes along. The other two will probably be permanent members of my party.
7. New details about Avatar: The Legend of Korra, including our first look at Korra's face and some of the character names. 2012 can't come quick enough.
8. Dad and I saw Drive Angry yesterday, and all things considered it was pretty kickass for a popcorn movie. It won bonus points with me for not shoehorning a romance into the story, even though it was kind of sexist and predictable in other ways. Anyway, the Accountant was my favorite character. He had all the best lines and action scenes.
