If you want to play, post a picture in your LJ of your pet(s) happily snoozing away. New pets, long-time pets, former pets, cats, dogs, birds, snakes, ferrets, rats, fish, all are welcome. If you don't have a pet of your own, find a snoozy one on the Internet and adopt it for the day.
Man, I'd forgotten about some of these pics. Anyway, I went to the barn today and gave Sharif a good grooming. He was looking especially pretty today, probably because this morning's storm pressure-washed him. I rode around bareback for a little while, which was nice and relaxing despite the heat. There was a nice breeze, so it wasn't too bad. After that, I hosed him down and did the whole fly-spray and sunscreen thing. He didn't fuss as much as usual during any of those processes, so he's either getting over his fear or just too hot to put in the effort. I hope it's the former, but suspect it's the latter. Either way, I'm not going to complain.
