What's that sound?

I think it's the sound of validation. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, anti-racebenders. Looks like "stupid internet movements" can go mainstream after all.

But enough gloating. So I'm still having massive anxiety episodes, but I'm heavily medicated at the moment, so it's not as bad. I went to the doctor today and she said to double my dose of Abilify, and also put me on some new anti-inflammatory and allergy meds. Hope they work. She also finally, finally scheduled an x-ray of my hips, and I just got back from getting it done. Should hear the results around Friday or so. At this point I don't even care if I have to walk on a cane for the rest of my life; I just want some goddamn answers.

In other news, the kitties are doing better. Yuna and Muta never got sick, but Baron caught the infection and so we were giving three unwilling, very uncooperative kitties two doses of medicine twice a day for a week. Barring one incident where Max took a chunk out of mom's arm and another where his claw went clear to the bone of my right thumb's knuckle (there's still a bruise), no major injuries resulted from this ordeal. At any rate, they're all recovering quickly, so it was worth it.

Sharif, meanwhile, is completely rain-rot free and has hair growing back on those injuries, so all is well. M-T-G is the best treatment ever, seriously. Now that he's almost back to normal, I'm planning to half-lease him until I'm given the all-clear to ride again. It'll be good for him to get exercise, and it'll make paying board each month that much easier. I just need to give him a bath (have to find someone to assist me) and trim his whiskers and bridle path (ditto) and he'll look like the pretty little princess he is. Hopefully it won't be hard to find a good, caring rider who wants to lease him for a while.
