Today was much better than yesterday in pretty much every possible way, so it's odd that I'm still excessively full of rage and hatred. I mean, there's always some bubbling just under the surface, but this seems to be an unusual amount of ire. Maybe it's a lingering effect of the Prednisone combined with the fact that so many people are still so oblivious to racism in Hollywood (see: James Cameron's Avatar and M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Failbender), combined with that new gay-bashing bill being proposed in Iowa, with a side of my grandfather's increasing mistreatment of my mom and grandmother. Also, we're supposed to get an inch of snow tomorrow. In Florida. Yes. Naturally, everything's closing down because no one here knows how to drive in the snow and anyway no one's cars have been prepared for snow. Laugh at us all you want, Northerners, but remember that come summertime it is we who will be laughing at you, because we'll be at the beach drinking Bushwhackers while you're griping about the heat, so suck it.
In other news, last night's episode of Leverage is so not helping my stress levels. They'd better all be okay! Except for Sterling. I hope he dies in a fire while the rest of the team reunites with Sophie and they all roast marshmallows over him and steal his pants just for grins and giggles.
Anyway, as usual, venting has helped calm my wrath. I'm going to go calm it some more with a muscle relaxer.
