For the fourth time in a row I was sniped out of Saddle Club books on eBay, even after I took the precaution of bidding much higher than I'd hoped to spend. Jeez. I guess I should be glad they're getting popular again, but still, my collection isn't going to rebuild itself. Maybe I should just stick to Hawsey's for my Sapphic children's literature.
In other news, I plan to completely rethink the recipe for Pink Rabbit, the lovely pink drink I came up with. Make it a proper drink in its own right, instead of an "oh, just add this to a pina colada" sort of thing. I'm thinking that the new recipe will involve vanilla ice cream. Coconut rum, whipped cream and cotton candy snow-cone syrup are all given, but there needs to be more to it than that. Maybe a little paper umbrella will do. I dunno. I'll have to conduct some experiments, although I should probably wait until after I finish my final research paper. I totally won't, though.
