When push comes to shove

May 04, 2009 18:40

I haven't posted in a while.

I've become very dependent on my iPod Touch. I turned my laptop on for the first time in two weeks last Saturday because I've been doing everything on my Touch, and I'm much more compelled to update my Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook when I use it.

Oh, and I've been kind of busy, sorting my crap out. I'm leaving for Japan on Saturday, and then I'll be back for only a day or two before leaving again, this time for Hong Kong. When I get back, classes over at DLSU will have already started and there won't be any time to do any of my Ateneo health requirements. College is so near, I can almost taste it-- even if I do have six weeks of The Last Summer left.

Speaking of going through the sands of time [WHUUUT.], today I registered to vote in 2010.

I had a complete stranger vouch for me to prove I am indeed Andrea Ang and they had to think about letting me register [since I turn eighteen in November] and my picture was fug to the nth level, but mother of God, I get to fucking vote.

This is probably one of the more exciting things about growing older-- well, that and legal acquisition of alcohol.

All in all, I'm just trying to make the most of my summer. I can't find that notebook where I put my summer list in, so I can't tell if I've made the most of it. Haha.

Oh, and in other news, today is my brother Raymond's 21st birthday. He doesn't believe in birthdays [just in gifts, haha], but wish him a good day anyway. :D
