[It's cold. For one who does not like the cold very much, they can be pretty miserable. Luke walks through the village, coat unzipped but crossed over his chest and stomach, with a rather irritated look on his face. Dammit. [Here is Norma, bundled up in a long, turtle-necked sweater/dress hybrid, leggings, and a scarf in her own home. I-It feels so cold in the house...ugh. Ugh, she hates this kind of cold. It was bad in the ice monument, too, but she only had to go there twice. After just for a few hours at a time. Does their house even have heat or whatever?! Or a wood stove?! Come on, she's freezing!]

If it is going by fast, then can it go by a little faster? Jeez, if i have to weather this kind of cold all year, I'm going to complain to those Malno-nos for sure! Or ask them for a biiiig hot tub with bubbles! I'll stay in it until it's warmer out.

Yuck, don't tell me you actually like this cold weather! [Norma does not. She does not like practically freezing in her own home. Hnnn, is there firewood somewhere? She will totally start a fire here if need be.]

It can speed up as much as it wants so long at this weather goes away! Then for the warmer months, it can slow waaay down, so I can enjoy a nice, long nap in the sunshine.

I've always got bright ideas. No one else seems to think so, though. [GEE, I WONDER WHY, HMM...] I've gotta stock up on the warm clothes, too. Jeez, I never had to do this much shopping back on the Legacy...good thing it's all free.

Yeah... I never had to worry about this back at home either. [Though that was mostly because everything was bought for him or they got a bunch of gald from monsters anyway.]

Oh, no! My, uh...world-- [That's never going to sound unweird.] --...it's called melfes. The Legacy's just a huuuumongous ship, practically the size and landscape of an entire continent itself. Lots of people live on the Legacy instead of the Mainland, and that's where I was staying for a long time myself!

What's the difference between a piece of dirt and a floating piece of dirt? [Seriously. The legacy had everything that a major piece of land had! Rivers, lakes, mountains, plateaus, plains...tons of stuff.]

Besides, I've got bad memories of the Mainland, and what i was looking for was only on the Legacy. And I found it on the Legacy, so that's the reason I stayed on it! Plus, all my friends live on it, too.

When you put it that way, I guess it makes sense. If all of my friends lived somewhere, I'd want to go there, too. [Especially since his family (excluding his mother) is kind of... yeah.]

Yeah, a few. There's G-Girl, and JJ...FenFen, and I guess Wally, too. [Even though she doesn't really consider him an actual friend more than a very large irritant.] Red and Spot were here, too, for a little bit...but they went home. Oh, and Sweetie! But she's gone, too...

[The sigh that escapes Norma's lips, and the silence that quickly follows, is an indication of just how that pain hasn't left her yet. Especially the latter, because of the fate she would meet back on Melfes.]
