[It's rather late at night when the journal clicks on. Luke had waited until he had calmed down from the nightmare he had to make the post, and good thing, too. Otherwise it'd catch the tremor he surely had in his voice.
Instead, he merely sounds subdued, and maybe a little hesitant.]Does anyone have any good stories to tell

Maybe it was a good thing. Because his voice makes her stir, though it takes her a while to fully wake up. For once, she wasn't already awake... ]
Luke?
[ She sounds groggy. It takes her a second to realize he's not actually there, and instead talking over the journal. She opens it up and curls up next to it, her eyes closed. All the little camera catches is darkness. ]
You okay?

Nngh. She sounds groggy. Did he wake her up?]
Sorry for waking you. [Now, does he ask for her help, or try to say that he's fine? Considering how it's still dark over there...]
Yeah, I'm okay. Just having a little trouble sleeping, that's all.

And yawns. Oh, jeez. ] S-Sorry! [ How embarrassing! She actually sits up in bed, now, pulling the journal into her lap. ] I guess that was why you were asking for stories, huh... I don't know that many. [ Hmmmmm. What can she do instead to help him sleep... ]

I'd like that a lot.

[ She shuts her eyes again, humming softly and tunelessly for a moment, obviously searching for a song. After a few quiet seconds pass, she hits on this. She sings it quietly on those open "ooh" sounds. It doesn't go on for very long (she stops at what wound be the two minute mark), and after a pause, she laughs quietly. ]
I need to find something with words.

Still pretty.

Luke... can I, um...
[ Normally she wouldn't ask ... but it's been so long. ]
... can I come over?

Huh? Sure, but... It's pretty dark outside.

Luke, I'm not going to walk.

Not walk...? But didn't you say that those portals are kind of dangerous?

A few minutes later, that familiar black portal will appear in Luke's room. But the girl that appears from the swirling darkness isn't quite the same as always. Well -- she is wearing, for whatever reason, her Organization cloak, with the hood up. It initially hides her face as she glances around the room, and only a few locks of her hair can be seen -- then she looks at him, and pulls the hood down, shyly. ]
Hey.

He still JUMPS in his place when the portal first appears. It's WEIRD seeing darkness suddenly swirling into existence!
When she pulls down her hood, though, Luke manages to calm down, and he lets out a sigh and smiles a little. Might as well greet her properly; he gets up and goes to her, then leans over to kiss her cheek.]
Hey.

Xion does not like wearing the coat, anymore. It's a symbol of everything she tried to reject, everything she didn't want to be... it feels like a concession to her past, having to wear it. Normally she wouldn't blush so much ... but thanks to the coat, she's feeling very shy, at the moment. With a sigh, though, she takes it off. She's still in her pajamas -- not an uncommon thing with their nightly visits -- a cotton button-up shirt and pants.
She hugs the coat to her chest, looking down at it. ]
... we had to wear this cloak back home to protect us from the Darkness. Otherwise it would eat away at us... I never really thought about it, I guess, since I had it on all the time. And when I got here ... I guess I didn't really feel sick until Vanitas...

At least this way I know for sure I'm safe from it.

At least it's good for one thing, then.
