so i decided to update. the likelihood of me actually posting this is slim because i bet in a few minutes i'll realize there's too much to update about and just delete it.
but until that happens...
hm this weekend is the halloween festival at the huntington firestation in huntington village to benefit diabetes. i've been working with the woman who is organizing it by getting teenagers to work in the "haunted house"- thank you so much to everyone who has made time in their schedules to help outtttt. it means so much! if you're reading this and saying to yourself "wtf is she talking about, she didn't tell me!" just ask me about it... we need as much help as we can get! i've just been sending my little blurb of information to people online who i think will be interested, but anybody who wants to help me it would mean so much. it should be fun. except i'm working both days the whole time, so i should be tired and cold. but i've been talking the the woman in charge a lot, and she is trying to set me up with guys that she got to volunteer, which is great because if i meet new people we can all hang out in the village at the end of the day. whatever happens, i'm glad that i'm helping out.
the play has started, by the way. i'm not sure if anybody knew because we've only had one rehearsal, and that was a read through. i'm pretty pissed about it, actually. the show is 6 weeks from friday and it is really complicated... and i'm going to miss 7 days of rehearsals for all county and all state, and they've been cancelling all of the rehearsals i CAN attend. and i'm just about the only person who doesn't have a scriptttttt and i don't want to be unprepared and aaah! oh, fall play. how i've missed thee.
all county is starting soon, which will be cool because my friends from grease, footloose, boces, and various other musically-inclined events will be there. so i won't be friendless like i was the past few times haha. oh, and justin and i are visiting nyu and columbia in two weeks! i'm excited, except for the fact that they'll say "no, you won't get into this school. sorry." that would suck.
i didn't update at all about my trip to washington d.c. it will be too long now to tell you everything. the most important thing about the trip is that i've taken a new direction in life... a developing interest in politics and political activism, if you will. long story. maybe i'll explain later.
there's so much more that i want to talk about and assess but i really must start my homework. toodles.
