You have won me over.  I may be nice, I may be sweet, I may be friendly...but...I am by no means, easy to win over.

And when I say "win over"...I mean...It is not easy for me to feel safe around people.  It is not easy for me to open myself up to people.

I have faith in you, Lindsey. You're a strong girl, really. You have determination. The bonds yu have to others are very important to you. If you can withstand so much crap from people who do not treat you properly, then you can most assuredly gain strength for the ones you care about who do treat you with kindness.

And it's okay to make mistakes, because then you know how to correct them in the future.
