They there people... I haven't really updated in a long while and since I am at a computer now, I am updating... Mhmm.... Yeah well, shut up, Okay? I don't really know what to write because I just upted my Xanga and it wasn't really an update but it was something at least.
There's this fuckin awesome book that I would advize everyone to read,it's called Tithe and it's about Faeries that have Faery Courts, both good and evil. On the back of the book, it says...
"Sixteen-year-old Kaye is a modern nomad. Fierce and independent, she travels from city to city with her mother's rock band until an ominous attack forces Kaye back to her childhood home. There, amid the industrial, blue-collar New Jersey backdrop, Kaye soon finds herself an unwilling pawn in an ancient power struggle between two rival faerie kingdoms-a struggle that could very well mean her death."
-Publishers Weekly, starred reviel had commented on this book saying
"A gripping read.... [T]he exquisite faeries haunt as well as charm."
-Kirkus Reviews, starred review had also commented on this book saying
"Debauchery, despair, deceit, and grisly death- what more could you ask for from a fairy tale?... A luscious treat for fans of urban fantasy and romantic horro."
From what I have read so far, it is a very interesting book that sucks you in. It has a good beginning that sucks you in and then it gives you all these details in the story and it just gets you sucked in more because your imagination starts running like crazy. Some people might think that, just because of there being Faeries in the book, it would make it childish but really it's not. It has its childish things but if you really grasp the comsept of the book, you'd see it as a really cool story. At first, I thought that I was stupid for reading something with Faeries in it but then I started getting into the book and it came to me that... That it's not stupid at all. Yeah well, I think I made my point, in a way but hey... Nevermind, shut up.
Hope you read this book
Laterz.
