The Lion and the Lamb
Doesn't it seem odd that one would want to be both the meekest and yet embody such courage and strength?
There are so many times in our lives when we need to have parts of both. A lamb, gentle, guided by the master, quiet; a lion, ferocious, full of strength & courage.
Jesus was both the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God who takes way the sins of the world. Who can compare?
Throw away all the doctrinal differences, doesn't this just make you stand in awe of the creator of the world, the Word of God, the sacrifice for all, doesn't it just make you want to know him more? The real him, not the him blanketed in theology from this or that school of teaching, or this or that denomination? Don't you just want to know what makes the heart beat of one that is so strong, yet has nothing to prove?
